does honey go bad? and how can you tell if its good or not? i have 5 gallon sealed container of honey,6months?
ihave 5 gallon , sealed container of honey ,that i want to put into smaller containers,it doesnt smell bad at all, it just looks kind of darkand crunchy, could it be from sitting for a long time?
bacteria cannot grow at such high sugar levels, but mold can grow on top of the honey if you are not careful bottling it. It’s the same as maple syrup. Sometimes mold grows on the surface of it. Some people get freaked but you can just remove it and you’ll be fine. same with honey. good luck
